These beautiful traditional Chinese facial massage tools are hand-carved from high quality Jade mined in China.
Historically, Jade has long been regarded as a highly precious stone symbolising purity, wisdom, longevity, compassion and righteousness. Though neutral in nature it feels cool to the touch and calming on the skin.
Your Xiuyan Jade Mushroom set can be used singularly or in synchronicity. The wider, flatter surface of the mushrooms makes them perfect for smoothing and sculpting the skin, free-flow facial massage and lymphatic drainage. They are also lovely for using to aid skincare penetration.
How are they different to other facial massage mushrooms? I enjoy using these tools with simple, slow and light movements for nervous system relaxation and lymph drainage. Some Gua Sha lifting strokes can also be created with the mushrooms making them a quick and easy way to gently smooth and sculpt the skin.
In treatments I will often begin or finish a session with the silky, deeply calming sensation of these stones on the chest, neck and face. They are a wonderful way to end a facial cupping treatment as they are cooling and calming on the skin.
For deeper neck, jaw and shoulder tension release I recommend CJB Bloodstone Mushrooms.
